We have a fantastic weekend planned with a leisurely, scenic drive up to Toowoomba including BYO morning tea and lunch stops. You will have a free afternoon after we check in to the Astor on James Motel.
Prices for motel accommodation are $92 for a single and $102 for a couple.
In the evening we will partake in a fabulous 3 course Christmas Dinner at Angelos House Restaurant. This will include all your traditional favourites and a visit from Santa. Cost for Christmas dinner is $45/head plus a secret Santa gift.
Breakfast on Sunday morning is an individual cost and is available in your room, or you may venture out and about to some of the many cafes in Toowoomba. We will depart Toowoomba at around 10am for a fun day visiting a number of local wineries including morning tea and lunch stops which will be an individual cost.
A $50 deposit will be required from those wishing to book into this run as numbers are strictly limited due to rooms available at the motel. Please advise as soon as possible if you intend to come along on this fun weekend, so that arrangements can be made with wineries for Sunday lunch and morning tea.

Sunday, July 13th, 2008 Brisbane Chapter Winter Wanderings Remember those “excursion days” at school when getting out and seeing living history was fun. Well now you can recreate that feeling as we jump on and off the Cobb and Co mail route.
Join us on our winter wanderings as we take you through historic parts of the great south east. Learn some history while travelling some great twisty MX5 roads through pioneering towns and beautiful state forests.
The run will start at McDonalds at Gailes – stopping for morning tea and lunch (at which time those who would like to “bail out” can do so) and then continuing back to Brisbane.
Enjoy a great winter’s day out – learning a bit of history while topless. School was never this fun!!!
This will be a run with a difference – stay tuned for further information.
