Mazda MX-5 Club Of Queensland

Club Chapters :

The Club

The Chapters have been created to provide geographic convenience for our members. However, Club members are not assigned by Chapter and any Club member is entitled and encouraged to attend any Club Run organised by any Chapter. The runs organised by each Chapter are generally conducted in that general geographic area, but they are not restricted to each particular area. Sometimes two Chapters' runs may be coordinated together.

The Brisbane Chapter

The Brisbane Chapter was formed in January 2001 when the MX-5 Club of Queensland, which was formerly Brisbane-based, opted to form local Chapters to better serve the needs of MX-5 owners living in the Darling Downs, Gold Coast, and Sunshine Coast areas.

The Brisbane Chapter runs are generally held on the second Sunday of the month (unless otherwise specified)

The Chapter Leader is Denise Peck, who can be contacted on 0408 741 851 or via email at brismx5@miata.net.au

The Darling Downs Chapter

The Darling Downs Chapter of the Mazda MX-5 Club of Queensland, Inc. was formed in September, 2006.

The Darling Downs Chapter runs are generally held on the third Sunday of the month (unless otherwise specified).

The Chapter Leader is Harry Rickards, who can be contacted on 0419 787 308 or via email at darlingmx5@miata.net.au.

The Gold Coast Chapter

The Gold Coast Chapter was formed in September 2003 to better cater to the needs of MX-5 Club of Queensland members from the Gold Coast area.

The Gold Coast Chapter runs are generally held on the fourth Sunday of the month (unless otherwise specified).

The Chapter Leader is Wendy Eales, who can be contacted on 0420 506 146 or via email at gcmx5@miata.net.au.

The Sunshine Coast Chapter

The Sunshine Coast Chapter of the Mazda MX-5 Club of Queensland, Inc. was formed in January, 2001, to better cater for the needs of 40 or more Mazda MX-5 Club of Queensland members in the area.

The Sunshine Coast Chapter conducts its runs on the first Sunday of the month (unless otherwise specified).  These runs usually end up at a picnic area or a restaurant.  In the hotter months, these social drives may be held earlier in the day (e.g. breakfast run) or in the cool of the evening (e.g. twilight run).

The Chapter Leader is Wanda Seville, who can be contacted on 0421 384 173 or via email at sunshmx5@miata.net.au.
